The Crowne Plaza Hotel is conveniently located on the waterfront besides the iconic Royal Liver Building.  The Crowne Plaza provides a warm and friendly welcome, reception drink on arrival and gala buffet served before the game (menu varies for early kick off). A former player will be in attendance to discuss the day’s events and return coach transfers are included to take you to Anfield and return to the hotel after the game.

From John Lennon Airport: Follow signs for A561 towards City Centre. After approximately 6 miles take a slight left onto A562 signposted Bootle, Birkenhead. By public transport
To get to our hotel from the Airport hop on 500 bus and ride with no worries. Get off at Paradise Street Interchange which is just across the road from us.

On Booking

You will receive an auto generated email confirming receipt of your booking. This will be followed by a confirmation invoice and hotel confirmation/details which will be sent via email within 48 hours.

 

10 – 14 days prior to fixture date

Your hotel voucher and match day itinerary will be sent via email.

 

5 – 7 days prior to fixture date

You will receive a ticket from Liverpool FC with a link to download your match tickets/hospitality pass to either Apple Wallet or Google Pay on your mobile device.

 

Arrival Day

Hotel check-in is normally from 2pm. If you arrive early or your room is not available the hotel will store your luggage in order for you to explore Liverpool of head to Anfield.

 

Match Day

The Reds Bar opens 3 hours prior to kick off and closes 1 hour after the final whistle. Enjoy pre-match entertainment in the Reds Bar before taking your seats in the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand.

Fixture Date Changes (Important)

 

This bit is really important! Premier League fixtures are subject to date change. This can be due to a number of circumstances including TV Scheduling and cup competition clashes. The Premier League normally announce confirmed match dates and times usually no later than 6 weeks prior to the fixture date. We recommend you keep up to date with changes by checking Premier League Fixtures & Live Matches on TV Season 2023/24

 

Should the date or kick off time change for the fixture you have booked we will contact you by email with your options.

 

Please note the following prior to booking:

If a fixture date change is less than 36 hours for example from a Saturday to a Sunday, or the kick off time changes but the date remains the same, we can if requested change the date of your hotel stay to suit your requirements. This will be subject to us receiving an email confirmation of any changes within 7 days following email notification of the changes from ourselves. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll keep the booking the same.

If a fixture date changes by more than 36 hours for example from a Saturday to a Monday you have the option of changing the date of your hotel stay without any charge or alternatively cancelling your booking and receiving a credit note which can be used against a future booking within two years. This will be subject to us receiving and email confirmation of any changes within 7 days following email notification of the changes from ourselves. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll keep the booking the same.

 

If we receive email notification outside of the 7 days of any changes our normal terms and conditions will apply again.

 

Match Tickets

Liverpool FC have introduced NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for entry in to Anfield Stadium which means that all tickets will be digital and supporters must download their ticket (NFC pass) to their smartphone by using Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

Names and email addresses will be requested prior to ticket emails being sent.

Approximately 5 – 7 days prior to the fixture date, you will be sent e-tickets by Liverpool FC for all passengers on your booking which you will need to download onto your smartphone. Instructions on how to do this will be sent in the email.

Please note, all tickets must be downloaded to a smartphone prior to arrival at Anfield. Fans will not gain entry using photographs or screenshots of e-tickets. Tickets cannot be forwarded and can only be downloaded once.

All Match tickets are situated in the home supporters section, in the lower tier of the Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand. No away support or away support colours (scarfs, tops etc.) are permitted. If it becomes clear you’re supporting the opposition you maybe refused entry or asked to leave the stadium without any claim to compensation.

We will endeavour to allocate all match seats together. For bookings of six or less this can be guaranteed, bookings over 6 we may need to split the booking but will try and allocate as close as possible.

Fixture date changes?

Can I change my hotel booking?

We will do our upmost to accommodate any changes you require. Any changes will be subject to specific hotels terms and conditions. Should you be advised that the fixture date has changed you have 7 days to notify us on any requirements.

I am unable to attend, can I transfer or sell my tickets?

Should your circumstances change and you are unable to attend the event and you wish to transfer the booking to another person please email info@sportingaffair.co.uk. Please note hotel changes are subject to confirmation by the specific hotel. Under no circumstances are you permitted to try and re-sell your tickets via another ticket agency or social media channel.

Do you allow away supporters?

Away support is strictly forbidden and could result in not being permitted entry or being asked to leave the stadium.

Are transfers included in the package?

Transfers are not included in the package, we would recommend that you travel to Anfield via taxi or take one of the scheduled buses which depart from the city centre.

Can you arrange stadium tours?

Yes, please visit our dedicated page where you can pre-book a stadium tour. Please note stadium tours do not operate on match days.

Are we able to request specific seats at Anfield?

Our Reds Bar Match Seats are located in Blocks KP, KN and KG of the lower Sir Kenny Dalglish Stand (please click here for a map). Should you wish to seat in a specific block please make advise in the notes section on the booking form and we will endeavor to accommodate your requests although this cannot be guaranteed.

Can you guarantee we will be sat together?

We will try to allocate all match seats together. For bookings of six or less this can be guaranteed, bookings over 6 we may need to split the booking but will try and allocate as close as possible.

Can more than one ticket be downloaded to a smartphone?

More than one ticket can be downloaded to a smartphone although we recommend that each adult downloads their individual tickets in order to avoid any delays at the entrance. Should you have children in your booking tickets can be downloaded to one smartphone. Please note should you have more than one ticket downloaded on your smartphone you will need to be all present when tickets are scanned at the entrance.
